Situated in Sittingbourne town centre, the Bell Centre which included shops, warehouse and an office building were demolished in two phases for redevelopment.

The Centre was cut away from two adjoining buildings whilst still in use, and demolition of covered walkway used, as fire escape access was needed to allow businesses to remain open whilst demolition occurred above. Careful planning and special requirements were put in place to allow for demolition to continue whilst leaving the walkway open.
